Every decent Unit has an unofficial site, so i present the Real North Face Explorers!
We are an Explorer Unit made up of scouts from the North of Edinburgh. We meet on Thursday nights, and yeah we have a laugh generally, most of the time its at Nick!!! Nick is one of our more recent recruits, and well, lets just say he's still got a lot to learn! We go camping, and do lots of other fun things like that. This year we are going up the caledonian canal, some of us in kayaks, and some hiking, the rest of us are going to cycle.
Our leaders dont know about this page, yet! But when they do, dont be too angry, we are just going to express our own opinions, and in general we think our leaders rock, with the good mix of intelligence, and well the opposite, you two can decide who is the intelligent one!
If you are an outdoors kinda guy (or girl) then get in touch with us, we would love to hear from you. The Unit is a fairly young one, but we can take anyone from 15 to 18 yrs old, and we guarantee if your looking for fun with other people like you, then the North Face is for you.

What's New?
Not much is new, but Calum and Richard are due a badge, the scouting skills badge?? The report will be handed over once the badges are awarded. Remember folks we know where you live, so hand over the badges or the campervan gets it! As for the fiesta, lets just tap it once and it will fall to pieces around us!!!
Well, here we are, the end of the home page, almost, hope you read on, to learn about our adventures, we have been as far as Thailand and Singapore, ok some of us have, ok only two of us have! But hey, if we fundraise, how does Spain sound for next summer? Sun, Sea, Sand and, well anything else starting with S! Oh yeah and we are going to France this summer, or at least a few of us, the camp has not had many people interested. It's due to the lack of planning we have agreed! |
